Hot Freakin’ Fudge

If you want to make a woman in your life happy–truly, deeply happy–homemade hot fudge is the way to go. Here’s the recipe:


1 1/3 stick butter

1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa

1 3/4 cups white sugar

12 oz. evaporated milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

Combine the butter, cocoa, sugar, and the can of milk together in saucepan and cook it for 15-20 minutes over medium heat. If using a candy thermometer, raise the temperature to 225 degrees. Pour the entire mixture into a blender and mix on medium speed for a minute. Alternatively, you can pour it into a containing and use an electric mixer on high speed for 1-5 minutes. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP. I know it makes a mess, but it’s very important. Also, be careful, as heat and steam will emerge as the fudge is blended. Serve over ice cream and revel in the worship you immediately receive.
