Breakfast Casserole

Breakfast casserole--the best way to start any day. Or finish one, for that matter.

Few things epitomize the good and simple paradigm like Breakfast Casserole. Not only is it incredibly tasty, but it’s super simple to make. And there’s no reason to limit it to just one meal out of the day!


9 slices of bread, torn into small pieces

9 eggs

2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese

1 20 oz. package of breakfast sausage (e.g. Jimmy Dean)

1 squirt of mustard

Salt & pepper


Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees. Brown the sausage in a skillet; drain grease. Combine all ingredients, adding a dash of salt and pepper. (If the mixture is of unmanageable thickness, add milk.)

Pour the mixture into a pre-greased 9×13 pan (use cooking spray or shortening) and bake for 20-30 minutes. Then enjoy!
